Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics.
Start date is as soon as possible.
This role involves caring for patients with surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions.
Patient populations include those with fractures, traumatic injuries, degenerative disease, congenital disorders, and infections.
The unit also treats patients undergoing total joint replacements and other musculoskeletal surgeries.
Teamwork is emphasized for achieving high-quality patient outcomes.
Experience in Orthopedics is not required.
Education will be provided upon hire.
The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4-6.
Nurses are required to float to meet facility needs if necessary.
Every other weekend is expected.
Prior experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
Travelers may be required to float within the facility or affiliated locations.
Refusal to float may result in cancellation of the contract.
Candidates must provide a finalized request for time off at submission.
