# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Orthopedics & Spine – Kansas
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Kansas

Schedule: Day shift 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or Night shift 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; Rotate every 3rd weekend (occasionally every other); 48 hours guaranteed per week option available

- Patient ratio 5-6:1 with comprehensive support staff including charge nurse, PCTs, and unit clerk on each shift
- Advanced mobile communication technology (iMobile platform) for seamless team collaboration and patient care coordination
- Fast-paced environment specializing in orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions including stroke and head injuries, and trauma care
- Equipment includes traction, external fixators, halos, continuous pulse oximetry, and remote telemetry monitoring
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements:- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS certification required
- Acute care hospital experience on Med/Surg or Telemetry units required
- NIH certification preferred
- Experience with wound care and dressing changes
