Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical/orthopedic setting.
The unit has a total of 22 beds and a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6.
Candidates must have rich experience in orthopedic procedures.
The unit handles various orthopedic diagnoses including joints, replacements, and fractures.
Nurses will not be required to read telemetry strips.
Charge Nurses are available 24/7 to support the staff.
There are certified nursing assistants present on each shift to assist with patient care.
Nurses are expected to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, with every other weekend required.
Floating to other units may be necessary.
The dress code for the unit is royal blue.
Charting is done using the EPIC system.
