This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, is required.
No call responsibilities.
Floating may be required as needed.
RNs will be required to work Charge RN shifts as needed.
This is a 29-bed unit providing care from adulthood through geriatrics for orthopedic patients, as well as medical/surgical patients.
Telemetry monitoring is available on the unit.
A physical therapy gym is on the unit, allowing patients to receive adequate physical therapy without leaving the unit.
High volume patient populations include those who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
Moderate volume patient populations include other surgical procedures, inpatient care, and 24-hour observation for medical patients.
Floating may be required to various campuses as needed.
All RNs, regardless of specialty, must pass a compliance EKG exam with two attempts allowed.
Modules for training will be average 2-4 hours and are completed during orientation.
