Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM); 36 or 48-hour contracts accepted; contract lengths range from 13-26 weeks; weekend requirement of 12-16 shifts per contract

  • Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
  • Two orientation shifts on the unit following hospital-based orientation
  • Flexible contract options available for qualified candidates; first-time travelers accepted
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Neurology experience preferred
  • Experience with CVA, heparin and insulin protocols, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pre/post neurosurgery care, IV management, wound care, and isolation precautions
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
  • Willingness to float as needed within the facility
  • Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays and fulfill weekend shift requirements
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
