Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neuro experience strongly preferred
• Skills required: telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, pre/post neurosurgical care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, wound care, insulin and heparin administration
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Additional Information:

• Contract staff will be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters
• Up to 7 days of time off may be requested (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• No additional time off requests accepted after contract signing
• Pre-start online modules required (approximately 8-10 hours, non-billable)
• Former employees must wait 12 months before applying
