# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Med-Surg / Neuro Unit – South Carolina

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Team nursing approach, 6-7:1 patient ratio, must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period, holiday rotation with staff
Highlights:- 30-bed Neurology Med-Surg unit at a 313-bed acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center
- Team nursing model with dedicated unit techs and supportive charge nurse coverage
- Current unit renovations underway with expansion planned
- EMR system: Meditech
- Part of a facility offering specialized services including burn care, breast care, and robotic surgery
- May float to similar units based on facility needs
Requirements:- Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained upon hire)
- Med-Surg and/or Neuro experience preferred
- Ability to perform hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reporting
