Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend rotation

- 31-bed medical-surgical neuro unit caring for acute and subacute stroke patients, transient ischemic attack, acute neurological illnesses, and general medical concerns
- 26 to 51-week contract preferred; longer contracts receive priority consideration
- 1:6 nurse-to-patient staffing ratio with Epic charting system
- Float opportunities to other post-surgical and medical-surgical inpatient floors

Requirements:
- Active Kansas or Multistate RN license with clean record (no hits allowed)
- ADN or BSN degree required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
- CPI and NIHSS certifications are a bonus
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TDaP, Influenza, and TB documentation
- Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
