Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) – Tennessee
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
Highlights:
- 20-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratio
- Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage from 7am-7pm
- Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Meditech electronic health record system
- Advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, and iMobile communication technology
- Strong focus on patient-centered care with bedside shift reporting
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to float as needed according to facility rotation policy
