Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3120
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - MedSurg
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed; unit will typically low census in 4-hour increments and may ask traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Work on a Medical and Pediatrics unit; travelers do not take pediatric patients
• Treat adults with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Ability to work independently, complete tasks timely, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Positive attitude and flexibility with shift changes required
