Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Wausau, WI. This position involves providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to adult patients with a range of conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic management, renal failure, and infectious diseases. The role supports inpatient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, with responsibilities during night shifts and the potential for additional duties as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: Aspirus Wausau MAP RN, 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible, with guaranteed hours per week.
- Shift Details: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Certifications Required: Wisconsin RN License, Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC).
- Education & Experience: Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with Trauma level II experience highly preferred.
- Charting Experience: EPIC required.
- Responsibilities: Provide patient care on the Medical and Pediatrics unit, manage adult patients with various acute and chronic conditions, collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Additional Info: Ability to manage independently, ask questions, collaborate, and adapt to change is highly desirable. Flexibility with shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation, is required.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours in length, guaranteed 48 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 through 12/19/2026.
