Medical Surgical Floor RN Night Shift General Location
This role involves providing patient care within the medical-surgical unit of a healthcare facility. The position requires delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and clinical standards.
Job Details
- Position: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; active nursing license; drivers license for verification; experience in medical-surgical nursing, including oncology, with related certifications as applicable
- Additional Information: Pass/fail exam during orientation requiring a 90% minimum pass rate; open book exam on skills learned during orientation; Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited; Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius and not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization; RN to float within scope as needed; COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply; the shift involves caring for MedSurg patients with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including post-operative recovery and oncology overflow cases; charting system used is EPIC.
