Facility: Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center
Location: Johnstown, PA
Unit: 9th Floor – Trauma/Ortho/Surgical
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
48 hours/week: Can accommodate if requested
Experience: 2+ years
Travel Requirement: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.

Unit Details

• 44 beds across two nursing stations/units
• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Patient population: Adult
• Trauma, Orthopedics, Urology, Colorectal, and Surgical patients
• Common care: Post-op
• EHR: Epic
• Trauma Level I
• Must be willing to float to a unit with a comparable patient population if needed
• No call

Schedule / Weekend

• 36 hours/week guaranteed
• 48 hours can be accommodated
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Expect to work at least 2 of the 4 weekends
• No call required

Required Experience

• 2+ years of RN experience
• Trauma experience required
• Must be flexible, friendly, and willing to work

Testing / Requirements

• No additional certifications listed beyond facility requirements
• Must pass:
  • Dysrhythmia test
  • Medication dosage/math test
• Tests are completed with the Education Department before starting on the unit

Pennsylvania Clearance Requirements

Candidates must have complete and clear screenings before starting. Required PA clearances include:

• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• PA Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
• FBI/Department of Aging Fingerprinting
• PA State Police PATCH Clearance
• All fingerprints must be submitted/uploaded before candidate clearance
• FBI fingerprinting from the past 2 years may be accepted

Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Scrubs: No designated color; professional appearance required
Facial piercings: Only a one-sided nose stud is permitted; facial hoops are not allowed
