- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Nursing degree required; diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred
- 5+ years of nursing supervisor or house supervisor experience in an acute care hospital setting, including Charge Nurse responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee care for patients from infancy through geriatrics
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise patient care across multiple nursing units and departments during evening, night, and weekend shifts
- Serve as a clinical role model and provide direction to nursing staff
- Evaluate care delivered by nursing personnel and support excellence in the nursing process
- Make appropriate staffing decisions to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Support human resource management efforts that promote a positive and productive work environment
- Act as the on-site hospital representative for operational and administrative coordination during assigned shifts
- Partner with Nursing Leadership and Clinical Managers to maintain smooth hospital operations
- Promote interdisciplinary communication, cooperation, and a positive patient experience
- Contribute to divisional goals and demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional growth
