Position: Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular RN

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36/48
Contract Length: 13 weeks required for elevated rate

Position Overview

• Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit with 38 beds.
• Telemetry with remote monitoring.
• No drip titrations.
• Cerner OneChart.
• Every other weekend requirement.
• Ceil Blue scrubs.

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse experience in a Medical/Surgical or Cardiovascular setting.
• Telemetry experience.
• Ability to start IVs.
• Cerner OneChart experience preferred based on unit workflow.

RN Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor patients through remote telemetry.
• Start IVs as required.
• Coordinate with the IV team when additional IV support is needed.
• Collaborate with the lab for blood specimen collection.
• Monitor and document patient status.
• Provide ongoing cardiovascular and medical/surgical nursing care.
