Med Surge Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU/CCU team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and complex patients.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education and support.

Requirements

  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.

Preferred

  • Previous ICU/CCU experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience caring for high-acuity or critically ill patients.

Schedule: 12-hour nights | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend
Required Certification: BLS
