Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Walnut Creek, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic system.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in the Emergency Department.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Experience with Epic documentation system is mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• Prior travel experience is required, preferably with at least 1-2 previous assignments.

Additional Information:

• Patient nurse ratio: 1:4.
• Daily average census of 190-200 patients.
• Must be willing to work various start times (5a, 7a, 9a, 10a, 11a).
• Good teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.
