Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical surgical nursing, with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to medical surgical patients
  • Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient status and administer medications as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management
  • Participate in team nursing initiatives and manage a patient load of 1:7

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical surgical nursing
  • Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma settings is required
  • Experience in large hospital settings is preferred
  • Must possess a current driver’s license

Shift Information

This position requires 4x12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend availability may be required as needed.

Additional Information

Please note that local candidates are not eligible, as there is a strict 100-mile radius rule in effect.
