SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission.
This 12-bed specialized inpatient unit provides comprehensive care for adult patients with complex medical conditions, co-occurring behavioral health needs, and substance use disorders. The unit focuses on the assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients requiring integrated medical and behavioral health interventions. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary team approach that emphasizes patient safety, recovery-oriented treatment, medication management, behavioral support, and discharge planning.
Staff on this unit work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and addiction specialists to address acute medical needs while supporting patients experiencing substance withdrawal, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns. The unit is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care that promotes recovery, improves health outcomes, and supports successful transitions to community-based services and ongoing treatment programs.
• Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks.
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.
• Accept First-Time Travelers: no

• Proficient in Med/Surg care with experience in use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks and isolation precautions

• 1:6 ratios
• The 7M Medical Specialty Unit is a specialized 12-bed inpatient unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care for adult patients with complex medical conditions, co-occurring behavioral health needs, and substance use disorders.
• Will be required to float within skillset
• RN may be required to work as charge and to precept
