Job Requirements

• Current Texas RN license or active multistate RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 4 years of recent RN House Supervisor and ICU Supervisor hospital experience
• Experience leading emergency events, including Code Blue and rapid response situations
• Strong background in caring for critically ill patients in an ICU or critical care setting
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care
• Skilled in venipuncture and IV initiation
• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and organization
• Ability to float between House Supervisor and ICU RN duties based on census and facility needs
• Ability to work effectively in a paper charting environment

Responsibilities

• Promote and support quality patient care through strong day-to-day leadership and long-term planning
• Direct, coach, and develop nursing staff to help maintain a high-performing clinical team
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Respond to evolving patient and unit needs with sound clinical judgment and operational awareness
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow priorities to help ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Support critical care patients and assist with emergency response situations as needed
• Maintain standards for documentation, safety, infection control, and equipment readiness
• Contribute to a compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff
• Assist with ongoing process improvement efforts to strengthen quality and efficiency
• Float between supervisory and ICU RN responsibilities depending on facility needs
