Travel RN – Med Surg | Battle Creek, MI | $2,508.00/week

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
  • Location: Battle Creek, MI 49017
  • Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Contract: 13 weeks, with up to 26 weeks available
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ year
  • Travel Experience: Highly preferred; candidates without travel experience may be considered with stronger permanent experience
  • Michigan RN License: Required
  • BLS (AHA): Required

  • NIHSS: Required

     

Unit & Patient Ratios

  • Med Surg staffing: approximately 1:5–6 on nights
  • Observation Unit: 10-bed ER Overflow
  • Observation ratio: 1:6 nights | 1:5 days
  • Fast-paced environment focused on continuous reassessment, admissions, and discharges
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs

Schedule & Other Requirements

  • Every other weekend required
  • No block scheduling guaranteed
  • Willingness to float to other Med Surg units required

  • Must be comfortable working with a variety of staff
