Looking for an experienced Med Surg RN who is comfortable working across inpatient, observation, swing bed, and ER.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med Surg, observation, and swing-bed patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.
• Provide post-operative care, including care for orthopedic patients.
• Respond to and assist with ER patients and urgent/emergent conditions.
• Perform ongoing assessments and communicate significant changes to providers and the care team.

Requirements

• Active RN license for the State of CO or Compact State
• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Previous experience caring for acute-care patients
• Comfortable working with Med Surg and/or ER patients
• BLS certification – Required
• ACLS certification – Required
