Job Summary
ThedaCare Medical Surgical Floor in Appleton and Neenah is seeking an experienced RN to join the Clinical Resource Team for a 17-week assignment. This role involves floating across all Medical/Surgical units, providing patient care during 12-hour night shifts, and supporting staffing needs within the organization.
Job Details
- Certifications: WI RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be coming from a facility or home location more than 50 miles from Neenah, WI.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an RN, with at least 2 years on Medical/Surgical units and one previous travel contract (strongly preferred).
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with rotations including weekends and holidays.
- Additional job details include floating to all Med/Surg units, flexible placement, patient ratios of 1:5-6, and experience with various medical conditions such as stroke, post-procedure patients, and cardiac cases.
- Travelers are expected to float to various locations and adapt to changing assignments.
- Minimum Experience Required: 0 years (but applicable experience as listed above is essential).
