Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Registered Nurse (RN)| Peoria, Illinois
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
Experience: Med-Surg experience, central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes required. EPIC and travel experience preferred.
Requirements: Active Illinois RN license or application in progress. Negative drug screen required. Drug-free campus.
Unit: 56-bed Acute Care General Medicine unit
Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 during days
Weekend: Every other Saturday and Sunday
Charting: EPIC
Floating: Other acute care medical units as needed.
Submission Requirements: Last 4 digits of SSN, middle initial, requested time off, and license/application status.
Local Rate: Reduced rates apply to candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.
Orientation: 2–3 shifts; 12 hours non-billable.
Call-Off Policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty.
