Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Newburyport, MA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.

As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, interpreting telemetry readings, and providing comprehensive nursing care. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in self-scheduling, with support for balancing the schedule.

Shift Details:

• 12-hour shifts, rotating between 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
• Every other weekend and holiday required.
• Floating to Med-Surg or Telemetry as needed.

Patient Ratios:

• 5:1 during 7a-11p, 6:1 during 11p-7a for Med-Surg.
• 4:1 during 7a-11p, 5:1 during 11p-7a for Telemetry.

We are committed to meeting the winter staffing needs and will accept local candidates. Please note that only one holiday requested time off will be accepted. A BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission for travelers.
