Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the night shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: 4x12 hours (Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Ratios: Normal staffing ratios of 1:6, flexing to 1:7 as needed
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend

Floating Requirements

This position may require floating within your scope to meet facility needs and may involve working across similar units.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Preferably 2 years in a medical-surgical setting
• First-Time Travelers: Welcomed
• Licensure: Must have a current South Carolina license or a Compact license prior to starting
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Special Requirements: Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Required Skills: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Insulin management, Rapid Response

Additional Information

• Local staff within a 60-mile radius are not accepted
• All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission for review
• Guaranteed hours may be subject to call-off for one shift every two weeks
