Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Summary for RN - Med/Surg (Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA):
- Provide direct nursing care to medical/surgical patients, with a focus on transplant cases and peritoneal dialysis.
- Work a 13-week assignment with possible start dates every Monday.
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols, including wearing navy blue scrubs.
- Care for complex patient populations, including those undergoing transplant procedures.
- Perform peritoneal dialysis and manage patients with related clinical needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.
- Adhere to facility’s policies for travelers (no local travelers within 50-mile radius).
- Require a minimum of 18 months recent experience in specialty (within the past 3 years).
- Hold a current Georgia RN license or a compact state nursing license.
- Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
Med Ninjas Job ID #19487. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
