GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Milton, Massachusetts.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the ICU. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, addressing the winter staffing needs of the facility. With guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care.
As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be expected to work 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend required. Candidates must have 2-3 years of related work experience and hold a valid Massachusetts nursing license (temporary or permanent). You will also need to be CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certified, with skills in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management. A CCRN certification is preferred.
During your orientation, you will be required to pass ECG/Tele tests and medications tests. Additionally, you may be expected to float as needed to PACU, step down, and ED for the care of holding patients.
Local candidates are accepted at a rate $10 less than the travel rate. Note that travelers do not need a separation period from BILH to submit to open orders. Please be aware that only one holiday off request will be accepted, and no more than three days of RTO (Request Time Off) are allowed.
