Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health | Kissimmee, Florida

Join our home health nursing team in Kissimmee, FL, and provide skilled, individualized care to patients in their homes. This field-based Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity allows you to help patients achieve greater independence and improved health outcomes throughout the Central Florida community. Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Kissimmee, Florida 34741, with travel throughout the assigned coverage area
• Healthcare Setting: Home health and in-home patient care
• Schedule: Day shifts, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours: 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
• Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks, from October 12, 2026, through January 3, 2027
• Weekend/On-Call Requirement: Weekend and on-call coverage may be required
• Travel: Local travel between patient visits is required; mileage between visits is reimbursed according to program policy

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
• Associate degree in nursing or higher
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in home health or community-based care
• Previous home health nursing experience required
• Proficiency with HCHB documentation and workflow preferred or required based on assignment expectations
• Current professional nursing certification and credentials required for the assignment
• Ability to work independently, manage a daily home visit schedule, and travel throughout the assigned service area
• Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, communication, care coordination, and documentation skills

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the Kissimmee coverage area
• Complete Start of Care, Resumption of Care, and other assigned Registered Nurse visits
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient progress
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, disease management, treatment plans, and safe home care techniques
• Recognize changes in patient condition and coordinate timely follow-up or escalation of care
• Accurately document visits, clinical findings, interventions, and outcomes using HCHB
• Maintain productivity expectations while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Participate in required on-call and weekend coverage
