Job Requirements

• Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Associate degree in Nursing or higher
• At least 1 year of home health or homecare nursing experience
• Homecare Homebase documentation experience preferred
• Experience with wound care, wound vacs, IV site care and maintenance, and venipuncture preferred
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and independent clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in the home health setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Complete accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation for each visit
• Provide wound care, wound vac management, and IV-related nursing support
• Perform venipuncture and other nursing interventions as appropriate
• Manage scheduled home visits while maintaining productivity expectations
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as assigned
• Coordinate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
