Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Marquette, Michigan. The schedule is for night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, catering to experienced healthcare professionals who thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details

  • Location: Marquette, MI
  • Shift: Night shift, 12 hours
  • Schedule: Night shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and valid medical license in Michigan
  • Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification and experience in trauma, orthopedic, or neuro patient care
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to inpatient units as needed
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit features 24 beds with patient ratios of 1:6
    • Experience in trauma, post-orthopedic/neuro, and general pediatric care preferred
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems include Paragon transitioning to Cerner on 03/01/2024
    • Teamwork and collaboration are essential personality traits for success in this role
