Job Description:
RN Med Surg
Department: Med Surg
Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Shift: Day Shift, 0615 to 1845
Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
EHR: Cerner experience required
Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide observation and/or inpatient care to patients assigned to the Med Surg Unit. The RN is responsible for assessing and prioritizing patient care, administering nursing care and procedures, monitoring and reassessing patients, documenting assessments and changes in condition, educating patients and families, collaborating with providers, and supporting continuity of care to help prevent readmission.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required.
Previous traveler experience required.
Cerner EHR/EMR experience required.
Graduate of an accredited RN program required.
Current Colorado or Compact RN license.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
Current ACLS certification required.
Current PALS certification required.
