Travel Home Health Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050-$2,160
- Specialty: Home Health Nursing
- Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania; assignments may include Adams and Franklin Counties
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through February 1, 2027
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with every fourth weekend rotation
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Patient Visits: Approximately 6 home visits per day
- Documentation: Epic experience strongly preferred
- Additional Considerations: Care may include patients with COVID-19; the work environment is tobacco- and fragrance-free
Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent home health nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
- ASN or BSN degree
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- OASIS experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience strongly preferred
- Ability to complete home visits across Adams and Franklin Counties, including occasional travel across county lines when patient care requires it
- Willingness to participate in the every-fourth-weekend rotation and work holidays as needed
- COVID-19 vaccination required; permitted medical, religious, and declination exceptions may apply
- Influenza vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may apply
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across the assigned service area
- Complete comprehensive admissions, start-of-care visits, routine visits, recertifications, and resumptions of care
- Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, identify significant changes in condition, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
- Administer and manage medications, intravenous infusions, injections, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and feeding tubes
- Provide wound care, pressure ulcer prevention and staging, Wound VAC management, drain care, chest tube care, catheter care, ostomy care, tracheostomy care, and port care
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication use, equipment safety, infection control, and individualized care plans
- Complete accurate OASIS assessments and clinical documentation in Epic
- Coordinate services with providers, therapists, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Support safe transitions of care, discharge planning, and palliative symptom management when appropriate
- Respond professionally to changes in patient status and promote safe, high-quality care in the home setting
