# Travel RN – Med/Surg | Maine
**13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts**
**Location:** Calais, Maine

**Holiday Coverage:** Required
**Call:** None
### Requirements
* Active Maine RN License or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program
* Minimum **3 year of RN experience**
* Current **BLS/BCLS**
* **ACLS & PALS** required within 6 months of hire
* Prior Med/Surg experience
* Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively with an interdisciplinary team
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualized, patient-centered care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
* Develop and update care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and the care team
* Coordinate and direct patient-care team activities
* Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and confidentiality
* Promote teamwork and compliance with hospital and state standards
* Provide safe, professional nursing care throughout the patient stay
### Assignment Details
* 13-week contract
* Night shift
* Three 12-hour shifts per week
* Holiday coverage required
* No call
* W-2 employment; 1099 not accepted
* No mileage reimbursement
