Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Exeter, NH. This is a contract position with a focus on providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.

As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for managing a variety of cases, including critically ill adult patients experiencing medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis. You will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric patients in certain situations, stabilizing them before potential transfer to larger tertiary pediatric centers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participating in patient and family education.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) are required.
  • Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with every third weekend required.
  • Must be able to accommodate a maximum of three days of requested time off (RTO); no holiday RTO will be approved.
