Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit requiring charge RN experience and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

  • Medical Surgical Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shift schedule (7P-7A), 36 hours per week
  • Uses Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
  • Will function as Charge RN for most shifts
  • Some eligibility for overtime shifts if desired, though not guaranteed weekly

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or ME) required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg or Tele specialty
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Previous charge nurse experience required
  • Background in critical access hospitals preferred

Additional Information

  • Scrubs of any color permitted
  • Free parking available onsite
  • Orientation period consists of 1-2 shifts
  • RTO requests subject to manager approval
  • First-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis following interview
  • Candidates who have previously worked in a permanent capacity at any Northern Light Health hospital are not eligible
  • Flu vaccination required for clearance to start, with medical exemptions only considered subject to facility approval
