Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Rockport, Maine. This position involves providing patient care on a 45-bed medical-surgical unit, focusing on orthopedic, general surgery, and urology patients. The RN will work night shifts, ensuring quality care and adherence to clinical standards within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, from 06:45 PM to 07:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; PALS preferred; 1 year of minimum experience; healthcare provider located in Maine.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV skills, and documentation; patient-focused, organized, and a team player.
• Additional Information: The RN will work on a general medical-surgical floor caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and pneumonia. Pediatric patients may be admitted, and PALS certification is preferred but not mandatory for travel nurses on this unit. The role requires a positive and professional demeanor, with compliance to dress code standards.
