Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

  • Shift: Nights Mon - Fri, Nights: 3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week
  • Local Radius rule: NO LOCALS within 50 miles of said facility. Based on DL
  • Employee Separation Policy:Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
  • HOLIDAY update:unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays
  • Scrubs: Navy Blue, solids
  • N:P Ratio: Days - 1:5, Nights - 1:6
  • Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist Submission requirements:
  • NO 1st time travelers... must have3 months minimum of current travel experiencewithin the previous 12 months
  • EPIC emr experience [required]
  • AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS; basic life support
  • WeekendDescription:every third
