Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Colorado
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred or required based on unit needs
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong manual dexterity and physical agility to safely perform nursing procedures
- Ability to use safe body mechanics and work effectively in a team environment
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to compassionate patient care
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care based on comprehensive assessment and clinical judgment
- Monitor, evaluate, and document all components of nursing care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Respond to changing patient needs with professionalism, adaptability, and critical thinking
- Provide respectful, compassionate service to patients, families, and team members
- Support care delivery across Med/Surg and related acute care needs as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold established compliance and safety standards
