- Shift: 8-hour evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Start Date: 09/09/2026
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Pediatrics experience preferred
- ACLS upon hire, or active BLS with AHA ACLS obtained within 60 days of hire
- PALS preferred
- Strong professional communication, empathy, diplomacy, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
- Provide nursing care in accordance with standards, protocols, and established policies and procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately
- Monitor cardiac rhythm, rate, and configuration, and initiate appropriate responses per provider orders
- Complete timely, thorough documentation, including medication reconciliation
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to prioritize patient needs and escalate concerns when necessary
- Use clinical judgment to identify changes in patient condition and report concerns promptly
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in medical-surgical and surgical care, including tubes, drains, pumps, and related devices
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered healthcare environment
