Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS Certification; 2 years of solid Medical Surgical experience; active license to submit applications.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional requirements include proficiency in reading EKG strips, comfort working with tele patients, and experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities include delivering patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation.
• Candidates must be capable of working with a team, demonstrate a positive attitude, and possess strong clinical skills tailored to a medical surgical setting.
• The unit has a patient ratio of 5 to 1, with certifications in BLS required.
• Orientation consists of one shift on each unit for a total of two orientation shifts.
