Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a surgical unit position requiring surgical nursing experience and dysrhythmia management skills.

Details

  • Work on the Zayed 11 East unit specializing in Orthopedic, GI, Spine, Trauma, and General Surgery
  • Provide pre and post bedside surgical care for orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery patients
  • Multiple levels of care including adult inpatient acute and telemetry units
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
  • Experience working on a Med Surg Tele unit with post-surgical patients required
  • Dysrhythmia management experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
  • Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

Additional Information

  • Orientation sessions held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Strong candidates preferred given the prestige of this academic medical center
