Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to adult patients while ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical floor.
• Utilize strong assessment skills to identify patient needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes appropriately.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in educational efforts for patients and their families regarding health management.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system is essential.
• Pending licensure applications will be accepted.

Work Schedule

The position requires 3x12-hour night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, with every other weekend commitment and a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Additional Information

• Ratios: 1:5 for adult patients.
• Restriction on time off requests: Only 1 request will be accommodated.
