First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Medical-Surgical / Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend required.
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required.
  • Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 08/31/2026) | 3 Open Positions
  • Orientation: 16 Orientation Hours (Paid).
  • Floating Protocol: Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local hospital campuses.

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Clinical Specialization Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Must have strong cardiac background, including deep experience with cardiac drips and intermediate cardiac care in a Med-Surg or Stepdown unit setting.
  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ years of acute care RN experience. (Note: First-time travelers are accepted).
  • EMR Mandate: Direct clinical charting experience in Cerner EMR.
  • Required Documentation Profile [MUST ATTACH AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Copy of Driver's License.
    • Mandatory Reporter Certification (Iowa-compliant Child & Dependent Adult Abuse mandatory reporter training).
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Iowa State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
