Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position is available for various shifts, including 3x12 and 4x12 schedules, and requires flexibility to float between units to meet staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 32-bed medical/surgical unit, with a focus on innovative nursing practices and technology integration.
• Maintain patient care ratios of 1:6 to ensure each patient receives appropriate attention and care.
• Participate in self-scheduling based on assigned group rotations, adapting to changing staffing needs.
• Actively engage in holiday rotations, working at least one summer and one winter holiday during the assignment.
• Collaborate with team members to implement new technologies and care models effectively.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Pending licensure is accepted.
• Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory.
• Must be able to work rotating groups for scheduling and maintain flexibility with potential shift changes.
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position.

Additional Information

On the first day of employment, the selected Registered Nurse will complete initial health screening at Employee Health. The first scheduled shift will commence the following Tuesday.
