Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
• Comfortable providing bedside nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
• Ability to complete required onboarding, compliance, and competency documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Support unit workflow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environment
