Job Details
- Position Description: Med/Surg Orthopedics RN 60% ortho and 40% general medical
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Active VA or Compact State license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years relevant experience, travel experience required, and valid at the time of submission.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/5, 10/19, and 11/2, with shifts normally occurring every other week on Mondays. The assignment may require charge responsibility, with appropriate pay differential and training provided. Travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years) with up to 20 weeks of assignments available, depending on unit needs. The facility emphasizes contributing to a culture of support, including interacting with students and new hires.
