Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

RN Med Surg :-

  • Provide skilled nursing care in a surgical unit specializing in General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Head & Neck Surgery
     
  • Deliver care to patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies on an ENT-focused unit
     
  • Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and interventions
     
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
     
  • Monitor patients for complications and respond to emergencies as needed
     
  • Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and recovery
     
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
     
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards
     
  • Must hold a current Georgia (GA) or compact RN license
     
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Med Ninjas Job ID #17787. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
