Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse location. This role involves providing direct patient and family support and nursing care within the full scope of nursing practice. The position requires working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient's physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will care for primarily surgical patients, including those undergoing joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries. Responsibilities include data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care based on individualized plans.
- Schedule: Night shifts, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Availability to work Christmas Eve into Christmas Day is required.
- Required Qualifications: State License Verification, RN License, and Epic Questionnaire completion. No minimum years of experience required.
- Additional Information: The RN will participate in programs and services for patients, families, and the community, working within their full scope of practice and engaging with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
