Job Title

Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (Level 2)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, Evenings, and Nights available | Weekends, on-call, and holidays per unit need

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to geriatric residents in a long term care setting
  • Perform nursing assessments and implement individualized plans of care
  • Administer medications and perform wound care as required
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to LPN and CNA colleagues within the unit

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long term care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Telemetry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of geriatric residents with varying care needs
